There's a new low-level mapset available in Brynknot.
You'll notice a new NPC on Brynknot square and some sewer holes in that town.
On the first level, Brynknot Sewers, there's some big rats, giant frogs and snakes.
There's a second level, Sewers, with slimes.
All the maps belong to the brynknot region.
These maps are aimed at level 1-14 and it includes a quest.
The mapset should encourage forming parties at an early level.
Added in rev 1425.

Great job on the sewers, Kiana. You've already rec'd my feedback on them in-game.

Thanks. I'm glad you like them
Soon they'll be expanded to combine it with higher level players.

Yes and consider adding that message I told you about -- the first time a player steps onto a tile of that nature ... but just the first time....
Also, consider making the quest a real quest, e.g., one that shows up in the /qlist ...
Maybe have the guy who tells you about the sewers ask players to retrieve the pouch for him, then when you bring it back to him he tells you to keep it as your reward?

I added a message that the water is too deep for you to cross.
It will come with the new level 50-75 dungeon in brynknot sewers.
About the quest, That would be nice indeed.
I'll have to ask Cleo.. Cleo?

Um, I meant about the tiles that are smooth -- do you remember that convo or do you need me to refresh your memory?
The first time you step onto one of those tiles, the system should send a message to the player, perhaps as a popup or something ....

I remember that. If I use that, you'd get spammed. "only once" is per tile and per map reset.
I'll have the NPC give a hint on pushing, or add a sign somewhere, like the announcement Evilasa put in the Loki Temple puzzles.

You would only have to put on a tile or two, maybe three -- at most ... or something like that. :p Maybe on the "click" tiles ?

Not all quests need to work like that. Perhaps a better solution would be to show one-drop quests as completed in page of the quest GUI (past Incomplete/Complete).

Works for me!
Although, it would also need to show up as a quest in the current quests list (Incomplete Quests) and then move the Completed Quests once the item drops and you "finish" the quest ....

No, that's not possible. Another solution would be to leave it as is: not all quests need to show up there. Rhun's cloak never showed up in any quest list...

Having a list of all quests wouldn't be fun.
