The error (message) would help. If it closes too quickly, open up command prompt, go to the map maker directory, and run it from there.

To see the message in the console edit the batch file with any text editor (such as notepad) and add a new line to the end that says PAUSE
Then it should look similar to this:
Code: [Select]
copy arch\*.* server\lib\*.*
cd server\data\tmp
del ?*.*
cd ..\..
atrinik_server.exe -log logfile.log
PAUSE

If it says it can't find the right directory you need to run the editor and set the paths correctly in it's options. When you've set the paths, collect the arches with the editor. If you get an error from Windows that says nothing but "Unexpected error in Atrinik.exe Program has been closed" or something similar you should make sure that Windows Firewall hasn't blocked atrinik_server.exe To do this right-click your internet connection icon and select "Change Windows Firewall settings". Open the tab "exceptions" and make sure "atrinik_server" has a tick in the box.

copy arch\*.* server\lib\*.*
Copying arch collection to the server

cd server\data\tmp
del ?*.*

Deleting temporary files

cd ..\..
atrinik_server.exe -log logfile.log

Starting the server, logging to logfile.log

PAUSE
Pauses the console to make sure you can read any soft error messages
