Map checker is another C based tool for Atrinik. It is located in tools/map-checker directory.

Map checker should be used for any map you have created to check any possible issues with it. It is not very fast for mass map checking (as of now, it took 7 seconds to check all Atrinik maps), but it works.

I have found plenty of issues with Atrinik maps, naming: Missing floor, multiple floor, 2 or more no_pass 1 arches on same square (usually double trees).

All have been fixed, but it would be good if you check your map for any errors before commiting it. ;)

That seems like a very useful tool! Was this developed yourself or by someone else? Because by the sounds of it, it rocks!

Yes, it was developed by myself from scratch. It could use with some improvements however, in particular, to extend the list of map checks.
