Hmmmm ... I see what you mean about Cleo. Let's try some deductive reasoning:
There are 4 systems involved: The main server; the metaserver; the website server; and Cleo's personal computer.
iirc the metaserver should continue to list the servers, and if the main server hasn't responded for 24 hours it simply uses the last known information. Now the client is reporting "Metaserver failed", which to me implies there is no connection. I do not know the IP address of the metaserver so cannot check. It was definitely working yesterday though, long after the main server went down, so something has happened in the meantime - maybe Cleo is doing something with that computer?
The website server Atrinik.org resolves to box572.bluehost.com [66.147.242.172] and is penultimately routed via Los Angeles so its a hosted website. There has been no sign of Cleo on the website since the main Server went down which could be either a) he is too busy sorting out the problem or b) as you suspect his personal computer is also down. If the main server and his personal computer are the same machine with a big problem now (e.g. HDD crash); or they are at the same location with, for example, a power failure; that would explain b). Does anyone know?
iirc the only official way to contact Cleo is
admin@Atrinik.org, which he wouldn't be able to read/reply to if his personal computer was also down or if a) above is correct!!! Unless anyone knows a mobile number, for example, more information is required before we can deduce what is happening I am afraid.
Very sorry I cannot be more helpful.
Kind regards
