I've created some of my own arches but they wont load into gridarta.

Could you post the contents of the .arc and .anim files you created?

One thing I see right away is that there's an object named
Object wall_lava_cave.171.
The dot shouldn't be there at the end.

Another bug is the
no pick
at the end. This should be
no pick 1

Could you provide the names of the image files?

Try recollecting the arches using the bat file attached to this post.
(Save it in the folder with the other w32 bat files of the mapmaker, then run it)
Does that give any errors?

That explains the problem.
Make sure the file extension is not capitalized.
Images should be in .png format, not .PNG

I really like the images.
