It would be nice to be able to send short messages to players via the post office, in addition to the objects we're now able to send.
Maybe the cost of sending a message could be based on its length? Or just have a universal fee ...
Also upon login, would be nice if the game apprised you if you had mail waiting for you in the PO.

Use the guild's book maker to send messages to other players with any length (using any fancy formatting books allow). Use the information posters all over the world to see your bank balance/items waiting for you in post office.

Didn't know about the guild's book maker (you just approved me for membership, haven't gotten to there yet). But there is more than one PO in the game, so it's more convenient to be able to send messages from a PO than having to run to the guild to get the guy to make a book, then send the book, no?
And if you're not a member of the guild, what then? Not everyone is going to want to be a member of a guild ....
Maybe having a book maker in every PO would solve this?

Works for me. See, compromise is a good thing, yes?
Often times I don't particularly care
as much
how something is implemented when I'm suggesting a new feature (unless I specify otherwise), as long as it gets implemented.

One of the reports I made for you in bugtracker earlier, NiteStar.

Oh coolies. Well I haven't started using bugtracker yet.
I figured that since I am not playing & am part of Atrinik (esp as I'm running the FB page I created for it, see
http://bit.ly/Atrinik
), I should check out the forums. As you may recall, I was pretty active in Dai forums, so figure why not bring my big mouth here and see what happens?
(but really, all my input is just trying to help out with stuff...)

I reported most of your other requests to the bugtracker too.
E.g. the music volume bug has been fixed already.
'Book makers' in post offices sounds good indeed.
The irony, I'm of to work now.
