New apartments available on Eld Woods Island.
To the north of Clearhaven you'll find Treehome.
Treehome is a big tree in which you can hire treehouses.
The treehouses are slightly smaller, though cheaper than apartments on Strakewood Island.
This is because Eld Woods Island is mainly for players of level 1-40.
To see a preview before the server is restarted, see the screenshots.
Added in rev 1472.

Do treehouses carry over to apartments? That is, do items stored there show up in apartments, and vice-versa, or are they separate?

They are apartments themselves. You can have more than one apartment, but always only one per island.

So stuff you keep in your apartment in one island doesn't carry over and appear in your apartment on other islands?

Could we add something to apartments so that items placed in a special container or something would be accessible no matter where we are in the world? Or maybe the ability to transport among our different apartments?

Well... eventually the 'town portal' spell will be available as a quest, which allows you to set up portals from one map to another and enter them at will. Also all tiles will have a weight limit at some point, so it's not possible to drop an unlimited number of items on them. Maybe when the construction skill is fully implemented add material which will allow you to build a magic portal which teleports you to any of your apartments.

Nooooooo, not a weight limit for tiles!

Although what you've said, other than the weight limit, sounds quite interesting. Can't wait until it's implemented. Any idea on time frame?

I'm guessing construction will be implemented soonish (I'll probably start sometime this or the next week, unless something else catches my attention). Not sure about town portal.

Hrm, still, if your apartments on diff islands will be storing different items, then it would be nice to be able to move among your apartments (via a teleporter or perhaps a special square, or stairs ...)

Hrm, stairs might be an interesting option; you enter stairs in your apartment which takes you to a room like the boats, and you have a choice of entering stairs to your apartment on different islands (provided, of course, you have such apartments on diff islands :P)

Apartments on different islands are separated.
Did I mention the 'apartments' in Clearhaven are part of a huge tree?

No, you didn't mention that they're part of a huge tree. How does that work, you enter the tree and then go to your apartment? Will this pave the way for going to another person's apartment? Perhaps once you go into the tree you get to a room with teleporters. The first teleporter sends you to your apartment, and then you can give access to people (maybe those in your guild) to enter your apartment, and people who have given you access to their apartments will have a teleporter in the main room in this tree?

You'll see how that works :)
They work like any other apartment though. Just with a different look and a different name on a different island.

Sheesh, can't believe that I have to spend money for multiple apartments now! Ah, the life of an island-hopping adventurer ... :P
